Ganondorf. IMO.

Vatti was said to be only for the stories with the four sword in them. Notice the left and right halves of the backround, night and day. But why is the castle on the far right colored dark? So many unanswered questions... oh and since when does Ganondorf have white skin?

have you noticed on the back of the Sheika the drawings seem like hourglasses? Do you think there's a relation with the hero of time or something like that?

okay, this is more then likely going to seem really out there, but does anyone else think that could be, well... Link? i remember reading about something like a werewolf transformation type thing, and the whole dichtomy between the day/night on either sides of the picture... obviously i'm just guessing, but the idea is kind of intruiging.

yeah, I had been thinking that maybe Link would have a darker rol during the game. Maybe the wolf has something to do with him. Btw, those things flying in the lighter side of the pic are dragons or some animal like that right?

The eye is there, sure, but the rest of the pattern on that cloak is far too similar to Ganondorf's in WW to be coincidence. Maybe Ganondorf is a Sheika? ... or maybe not. Could be dark Link? O_o I guess we'll only find out for sure when Nintendo let us know.

I agree with the skull kid and dan heron. I mean think about it. Why else would the wolf at the end of the 2nd trailer catch so much attention to the viewers? And then it appears again in this picture. What I think is that somehow someway a new Link has a wolf's blood heritage in him, and a new villain(lets just call him badguy) uses the full moon to turn him into a werewolf. And Link has to go undercover as a villain or find out about his Sheikan/wolfen past heritage to stop "badguy" maybe it'll even be at a point somejkindof maybe, temporarily permanent switch. Just like with Anakin Skywalker and like Frodo got possessed with the One Ring. Heck, anything could happen at this point. So alll we can do is sit back, relax and enjoy the thriller to come.....

Eep! *drools* I doubt it's Link. I don't know, but the nose doesn't look like it belongs to a guy, or to Link at any rate. Or maybe Ganondorf spent a little time out of the sun, and got a nose job in the meantime?

i was thinking about it, and if it's not link, i think the darker charecter may be a female gerudo. we know that ganondorf is one of the male garudo, which are really rare, occuring like once every 100 years. maybe this is the leader of the garudo now, because without a male, a female has to lead? i sure do love unfounded speculation.

I'm really not sure, to be honest. I know it's fun to speculate, but at the same time I don't want to.....y'know....just incase I end up disappointed when everything is revealed or whatever. I'm guessing he's a descendant of the long-lost sheikah tribe (which may well be an additional side-story in the game), and is one of those ever intriguing characters that could be friend OR foe when we first meet him/her/it.
Plus it has been confirmed that Ganondorf IS in the game. Kinda obvious seeing as there's that pic of Zelda, with a sword to boot. Maybe (and hopefully) she'll put up a fight against Ganondorf this time....

Zelda put a fight against him in WW; sure it was just in the end but I think that fight was really good X3 Nah, I don't think it's a female Gerudo cuz the shape of the nose looks more male than female, usually in Nintendo's art females have fine features. Besides, with Vatii and Majora who says it isn't somebody other than Ganondorf?

I think it's Shadow Link, simply because of the Light and Dark themes in the background =D besides the Princess Zelda thing was already done in OOT!

i dunno there's a slim chance of zelda making a major come back. but i think the whole werewolf idea is a good one too. besides- there was a dark link... maybe it's time for a new side to sprout forth.... beats me. i just want to get it as soon as it hits the shelves.

it is not link he is a ware wolf but that is a girl and it may be zelda. in the trailer link turns in to a ware wolf and the girl in the cape is in the castle.

Okay, here's an idea. Ganondorf is no shieka, but a gerudo. It states that in the Ocarina of Time. The most probable chance is that it's Zelda. Another Idea is it is Link that wishes to disguise himself in order to sneak around in the evil parts of Hyrule, without much conflict. But then again, I would lean more towards the Zelda side, because you don't know exactly what roles she's playing in the new game. I bet that she needs to sneak around as well. But another highly doubtful idea would be that it's Zelda's guardian, what's her face. She's a shieka... But then again, I doubt that they have Zelda's guardian on here... or would they?

I'm a member of Nintendo.com I got an official newsletter with an interview saying that Miyamoto announced that the one in the cloak WAS Zelda.

Well well well, Hi I am the new memmber.. Well I do have a few things to say. If that is Zelda..She needs to stay in that form cause she is one good looking chick . Plus I think the "Dark Link" should be in this one because he's only been in one 3-D carrying game( N64) And he appered in the game boy games..I mean COME ON! For crying out loud some people would love to see him in 3-D what do ya'll think? Plus Ganondorf has to appere he's like...The only baddie that escapes so many times...Well peace out dawgs!

ok, ive seen 60 trailers for the game, adn atleast 15 interviews with Miymoto or whatever his name is and they say that the one in the shieka cloak IS zelda.

Link_kid is right that is 100% Zelda I first figured it out when I looked at one of the images the scarf thing that was hanging out was the same one from the pictures of zelda without the cloak

in the twilight,link meets a girl named midna,do you think this is her alter ego in the hyrule?and its also said that midna convinces link to do her biding and they need each other to survive.or maybe zelda is hiding from someone.

I have two posters of this,one from Nintendo Power and the other From EGM.

When i watched the trailer and saw that girl in the cloak, iknew it had to be Zelda. I know what she looks like, and that has to be her. I can tell by the nose, guys don't have noses like that. So it is definately a girl. It has to be Zelda, she has the Sheikah symbol on her back. But it could be her as Sheik. We will all find out oneday.

You know, in another pic, I commented that Midna might have a human form, but she went into the Twilight Realm and became what she is. What if...that's Midna in her human form?! Admit it, it's possible. This is a little out there but, what if Midna turns out to be the Twilight Princess and she doesn't know it? On a different note, I think Links side is dark with a full moon because he is a wolf. It kinda confirms it, considering there's a wolf howling on the cliff. Hah hah! Bet you guys didn't see that one! lol!

some of my freinds say that the girl that got shot by an arrow by the pig thing is prop zelda but only when she enters the twilight so thats y the pig thing went and attacked but just got the wrong person but thats my friends opinion i dont really think thats true

hey everyone i'm a new member here. anywho, the person in the cloak may actually be Zelda. Notice how i used maybe? from what i've studied when i draw and from reading, a woman's nose is definetely that shape. and in the trailer, there is a person in the castle with their back to you first and with the same cloak on as in the picture with the same design. however have any of you guys taken a look at the picure of Zelda in the official art section? Zelda's eyes are upturned and she seems very cofident but in the trailer when you see the person wearing the cloak turn around, the girl is worried or sad.
