This table aligns the various texts of the European "Ocarina of Time" comic. This comic was originally in German, but was translated into Dutch. It was featured in special issues of Club Nintendo, Nintendo's European magazine. According to the credits, the comic art was done by Work House, Tokyo.
The first column gives most of the German text, (at least as much as we could glean from ZeldaFans.de). The next column gives the complete Dutch text. The next column gives a literal English translation of the Dutch the text. In the next column is my "friendlier" translation. This tries to take both the German and Dutch texts into account, and is written in "friendlier" English. This is the translation I used in the scanned comic. The last column is for translation notes.
Iron Knuckle scanned the Dutch comic, typed up the Dutch and German texts, and did the literal translation from the Dutch. Iron Knuckle is Dutch, and also knows German and English. I also used Babel Fish and InterTran to get another perspective on what the German and Dutch texts were saying.
