Map + Compass + Key = Treasure
B1F
From the entrance of the palace which is situated on the basement floor head north. Take care not to get hit by the Leevers which rise out of the desert sand or the projectile shooting Sand Crabs (called "DEBIRANDO" which would translate to as much as "Deviland" or something like that). Another new enemy which you'll be seeing a lot in the game is the stationary Beamos. Their eye fires a laser beam when it sees you. Lift the pots on either the left or right side and enter the room straight above you, if you wish to find the map.In this room take out both Leevers and the two Eyegores. Lift the upper central jar to find a secret switch. Press it to make the chest with the Map appear. The other posts in this room contain some valuable items like magic or recovery hearts.
Go into the room to the left of here and notice the telepathic tile. Examine it if you like to hear some 'useful' comments by Sahasrahla. You may have noticed the key in the upper left torch, but you can't get it like that... As with the Book of Mudora you need to charge into that torch using the charged Pegasus Boots dash. Just make sure you don't get hit by the Beamos while charging.
The other rooms here in the western wing are of no use to you at this moment (you may want to get to the Faerie Pond and Piece of Heart #8 right now, but Link will have to pass those locations in a few moments so that can wait. Go to the far right of the main room, ignore the upper right doorway (it leads to an empty room with enemies), go south and open the locked door with your newly found key.
This room is filled with three Popos and a Beamos. Kill the purple critters to open the northern passage and collect the Compass from the chest here.
This is a long corridor with cannonball shooters mounted on both left and right walls. The easiest way to get past them is by running through it with the Pegasus boots, it's not that hard. At the top Link finds the Big Key of this dungeon
According to the Map and Compass the big treasure is in the most NW room. Hence retrace your steps to the place where you got the small key. By the way, the room to the south of the Compass room leads to the right entrance of the palace. If you go through it, it is a one way trip to the outside...
Back in the north western corner enter the left room to find some jars in a diamond shape formation. Lift the one as shown on the picture below to find the switch to the big treasure of this dungeon. The other pots all contain more common items.
Open the big chest with your Big Key and this dungeon's treasure is yours. It's the Power Glove and with this glove you can now lift all of the light green rocks (including the 2x2 blocks) everywhere in Hyrule.
The back entrance
Now where is the boss of this dungeon? There is no staircase to 1F, hence to only way to go is the south western room. There's a Beamos here guarding the left entrance of this palace. If you would like to find a Faerie Pond read on in the special section otherwise just exit via the bottom.

Enter the room which lies beyond here to find yourself on 1F which is should lead you to the boss of this dungeon. You're almost there...

1F
Watch out the Beamos will shoot you right away so get moving. The door is locked, hence push the lower right block to the left to open it up and thus Link can continue on.Ah, an peaceful empty room you think. Well, the floor tiles are about to assault Link. There's 22 of them in total so this may take some time. You'd better collect the Small key from the bottom left jar to unlock the door at the top.
2F
Go down one room to find another Beamos along with 4 Popos. Take the four out and the door unlocks. The vertical corridor has again some Popos and 3 Beamoses, but now you need the key from under the 2nd rightmost pot.Again, a room with flying floortiles as with the previous room the key is hidden underneath a jar. This time it's the one in the upper right corner.
The last room before the boss' place. Take out the Red Eyegore with 2 arrows and light the four torches before the first one extinguishes and the wall will let you continue on to the boss.
Boss: Lanmolas
The Lanmolas are 3 sandworms which are a bit harder to defeat than the Knights from the last palace. Make sure not to get hit by the falling rubble caused by one. They appear randomly in the room and float through the air trying to hit you.
Their only weakness is their head and you need to hit it with the sword about 8 times before one is defeated. Alternatively arrows cause more damage, but it is harder to target them with these projectiles. Or if you have the Ice Rod and some Magic power use this item as you can beat each worm with only 2 hits using the power of ice! Just make sure you don't start spreading ice like that, because your Magic meter is limited.
You may need some back-up from a Faerie or Red Potion in your inventory, but eventually it will be a victory for you. A Heart Container pops up after the last one is defeated and The Pendant of Power drops down after that. Only one more Pendant to go!
