Fan Art

You can use the fan art gallery to post your own Zelda drawings. Please read the instructions and the rules below before using the fan art gallery (link is at the bottom). Enjoy, and keep posting!

How to Use

What follows is a short guide on how to upload your own images to the fan art gallery!

  1. If you haven't done so already, sign up for an account in the Member's Area and log in
  2. Once signed up and logged in, go to the Fan Art Gallery
  3. Click on Admin Mode on the menu at the top right
  4. Once there, hit the button Create/Order my albums
  5. Hit New Album to create an album for yourself.
  6. Hit Modify my Albums if you wish to add descriptions to it.
  7. Once done, hit User Mode.
  8. Hit Upload Picture at the menu at the top
  9. Enter the details of the picture, hit browse then hit submit, and VOILA!
  10. Next time you need to add pictures, just login to your account and hit Upload Picture!

Rules



Before you use the Fan Art Gallery, you must read the Rules so you know what is allowed and what is not.

  1. Manipulations of official artwork are allowed, but it should be stated clearly in the description or comments that you are doing this. Manipulations of fan art are allowed only if full permission is given by the original artist and it is stated clearly in the description or comments.
  2. Handcopying is allowed. Handcopying is when you look at a piece of art and then attempt to draw it exactly as it is but without tracing. If you are handcopying something, please state that in the description or comments. If you are handcopying fan art, you must get permission from the original artist.
  3. Do not post anything pornographic. In accordance to this, there can be no images depicting any form of nudity below the waist. Revealing clothing is excluded.
  4. Do not post anything that is hurtful or insulting to other members, even if someone is causing you trouble. Please report an offensive image or comment to an administrator before taking matters into your own hands.
  5. Only post comments relevant to the image you are commenting on. Do not start talking about the weather, harrassing other members, or ask for help on how to use the site. If you have trouble using the site then email an administrator. The comments section is not for chatting. Do not post comments with excessive capitalization, smilies or exclamation marks. Spam messages will be removed and repeat offenders will be subject to a review of their membership.
  6. Plagiarism is not tolerated and will result in a ban. Plagiarism is when you take someone's intellectual property, like an image
    or story, and claim you did it. Even if you modify the original in some way you may still be infringing on the original artist's rights. Please be aware of others in the community and use common sense.
  7. If you suspect another member of plagiarism, report it privately first to an administrator and it will be investigated. Remember, everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
  8. Please try to only post fan art that is relevant to Zelda. Scans of official material, and unmodified official art, do not count as fan art. Drawings of characters from a Zelda fan fic are relevant to Zelda, but please make it clear in the description or comments what you're drawing. Irrelevant image postings are subject to deletion without warning, and further abuses will result in a review of your membership. If you really want to show off some of your other work, only post one or two images, or consider posting your work elsewhere and linking to it. If you are unclear about whether or not to post something, please contact an administrator.
  9. Only gif, jpg/jpeg and png file types are allowed to be uploaded. Please do not upload bitmap, tiff files or any other kind of format.
  10. The administrators are , , , and . Please only contact Khuffie and davogones for technical problems, and direct all other enquiries to our other admins.

¡Lo que sigue es una breve guía para subir sus propias imágenes a la galería Fan Art!

Reglas

Antes de utilizar la galería Fan Art, debe leer las reglas así sabe qué está permitido y qué no.

  1. Las manipulaciones de las ilustraciones oficiales están permitidas, pero debe dejarse en claro en la descripción o los comentarios que está haciendo esto. Las manipulaciones de fan art están permitidas sólo si el permiso fue otorgado por el artista original y se indica claramente en la descripción o comentarios.
  2. Se permite copiar. Copiar es cuando uno mira a una pieza de arte y trata de dibujarlo exactamente como es pero sin calcarlo. Si está copiando algo, por favor aclárelo en la descripción o comentarios. Si está copiando un fan art, debe conseguir permiso del artista original.
  3. No suba material pornográfico. Según esto, no debe haber imágenes que muestren cualquier tipo de desnudez de la cintura hacia abajo. Las ropas reveladoras están excluidas.
  4. No suba material que pueda herir, dañar o insultar a otros miembros, inclusive si alguien le está causando problemas. Por favor, reporte cualquier imagen o cometario ofensivo a un administrador antes de actuar por cuenta propia.
  5. Solo escriba comentarios que sean relevantes a la imagen en que está comentando. No empiece a hablar del clima, a hablar mal de otros miembros, o a pedir ayuda para saber utilizar el sitio. Si tiene algún inconveniente para utilizar el sitio, entonces escríbale un e-mail a un administrador. La sección de comentarios no es para chatear. No fije los comentarios con la capitalización, smilies o marcas excesivos del exclamation. Los mensajes ofensivos serán eliminados y a los ofensores repetitivos se les hará una revisión de su membresía.
  6. El plagio no es tolerado y al que lo haga se le prohibirá seguir siendo miembro. Plagio es cuando uno toma una imagen o historia que pertenece a otro y la reclama como propia. Inclusive si el original es modificado de alguna manera, se puede estar infringiendo en los derechos del artista original. Por favor, sea consciente de los demás en la comunidad y haga uso de razón.
  7. Si sospecha que otro miembro está plagiando, repórtelo privadamente a un administrador y será investigado. Recuerde, todos son inocentes hasta que se demuestre lo contrario.
  8. Por favor, trate de subir solamente fan art que sea relevante a Zelda. Las imágenes oficiales escaneadas, o material oficial sin modificar no cuentan como fan art. Los dibujos de personajes de una fan fic de Zelda son relevantes a Zelda, pero por favor aclare lo que está dibujando en la descripción o comentarios. Cualquier imagen irrelevante que suba puede ser borrada sin previo aviso, y cualquier abuso posterior puede tener como resultado una revisión de su membresía. Si realmente desea mostrar otros de sus trabajos, sólo suba dos imágenes, o considere subir sus trabajos en otro lugar y dé una dirección de referencia.   9. Solamente el GIF, jpg/jpeg y los tipos del archivo del png se permiten uploaded. No upload por favor las BITMAP, los archivos del tiff o ninguna otra clase de formato.
