Moon vs. Sun
Me trying to use new trailer pics again. (I really like that wolf by the moon pic, and I'll probably use it like 10 more times) Due to the random appearence of the wolf in the Z'05 trailer, I decided that link had the power of the moon or whatever, so yeah. And he's fighting that lava guy (who turned out horrid, at least his face did) with the sun behind him. Yeah.

wow thats neat the blurriness makes it better than being sharp in my opinion

Yeah the sharpness looked way dumb so I blurred it up and I think it turned out well.

ja, the balrog was definately the most exciting thing about the first trailer. yet another element which screamed LOTR, but it was a very, very good part of LOTR. i wonder if we'll start hearing connotations of things like the Secret Fire? (which, for those of you not overfamiliar with Tolkien's works, was Gandalf's (and presumably the other wizards') way of referring to Illuvatar. Illuvatar was Tolkien's representaton of God: the idea behind the Secret Fire was that God is omnipresent like a raging fire but invisible/secret. Pretty cool bit of theology, no matter what religion you are.) Sorry about the tangent, I thought it was worth voicing.

It was right off of one of the trailers, the pic had both link and the 'balrog' in it. that tangent was pretty far off...

yeah, it does look kinda like a balrog doesn't it? is it a dungeon boss cause it looks cool. anyway, nice pic! actally, i like the idea of Valinor- a land of eternal life where you go when you die (at least if you're an elf) but you have to admit the idea is cool. (*yeah!* now is the time of way-off tangents and totally unrelated speculation!) hehe

i have to read the silmarillion... i've tried twice but i keep getting involved with other books halfway through. so, the picture: i personally think the blurring is a little overdone, and yet for being so blurred, link's head has a pretty sharp edge. also, the sword...looks like it's in the sheath. it's too fat. but those are just details. if this was wallpaper size, i would set it as my wallpaper. actually... i'll do it anyway. hey, not that bad! that's staying for awhile.

yes, the Silmarillion is definitely a book worth reading, it's really awesome, but kinda sad... ok, REALLY sad. i mean, in one part an entire nation gets swallowed by the sea, hwo happy can THAT be? (rhetorical qw, don't answer)
