Sheik vs Bongo Bongo
Well, I did it. I found a way to color under the outline without tracing over the whole thing. This is another landmark in my photoshoping skills. I got hooked on it today. 5 hours in front of the computer. I'm ready to go out and get some excercise, eat some food, get some sleep, and uh...bathroom break.

all in all it's an excelent pic but what I could recommend you work for the next time is Bongo-bongo. The texture you used just doesn't look right, it would have looked better with a more foggy look, softer instead of the dots you used

Very nice shiek. I like the little darts in the ground, thats a nice addition. Same comment as above about Bongo-bongo (one of the coolest bosses, though annoying) blur him up a bit and it'd be better.

I like the song it plays while you fight him, its cool

I love the little holes in Sheik's...scarf? Whatever it is, it looks awesome. Wicked coloring too. I wish I had photoshop

They recently made a windows port for GimpShop, which is a gimp-based clone of photoshop. google it up, it's only a 7 meg download. After all, i'm pretty sure you don't have the $400 nescessary to BUY photoshop, do you CK?
Chibi-Kokiri  [Apr 08, 2005 at 04:46 PM]
ooh thanks KR! *pelts KR with cupcakes*
dude_thats_evil  [Apr 09, 2005 at 01:34 AM]
Wow KR, I really am glad to hear KR's advertisement for GIMP for the billionth time! *counts all of KR's Gimp advertisements and looses track somewhere past 70* Do you work for Gimp, or something, because any time paint brought up in a conversation, you advertise Gimp
Koroks Rock  [Apr 11, 2005 at 04:53 AM]
i hate paint with a passion. and right now i'm talking about GimpShop, which is not Gimp itself, but a photoshop clone (ie, the interface will look similar) that uses Gimp's codebase. i am pretty heavily into the opensource world, which people in sites like this tend to be oblivious to. half the zelda fans i've met have never heard of linux or GNU or GPL or Zlib or openGL or Tux (yay tux!). my point is, advertizing for a worthwhile, useful project like GIMP, or fun projects like Cube should be considered public service, broadening your knowledge.
dude_thats_evil  [Apr 11, 2005 at 05:27 AM]
broadening my knowlegde??? *ponders* advertize the other random things instead of just gimp/gimpshop, cause you've already discussed the existence of gimp somewhere past 70 times
Koroks Rock  [Apr 12, 2005 at 02:19 AM]
i could always pimp mingw, which is a handy compilation software, but i doubt any of yall are interested. there's also Dev-C++, but again, I doubt any of yall are interested. You should all already know about Anim8or... perhaps unFREEz gif animator? that might be handy to some of yall. mmm... blender may be handy to the more adventurous of you, it's a VERY powerful 3d and sripting utility. but GIMP and GimpSHop, because they are Image editing software, and this is an Image gallery, are probably the most pimpable.
