I think that's just a concept sketch of how he stands in the game.

There's a lot more concept art in Nintendo HQ too, but they are reluctant to use it as promotional material Lunar6.

He has a brown gauntlet on his left hand and not his right gecause his shield must fit over his right arm... for all who didn't know, link is left handed. a large gantlet on the left protects his hand and a large gauntlet on the left whould only complicate things..

He looks so cute He looks a lot better than the other Links, just because it's more realistic. We're just used to seeing him as more animated and in some cases (The original Link) uberly Chibi-fied. Nintendo did a good thing in reverting to realistic-ness. ^_^

his under-shirt,looks like chain armor or lizard skin.

He's not wearing gaunlets, he's wearing bracers - which are clasped or laced to the forearms. As for the armor beneath his tunic, it's chainmail - you can see it clearly in the screenshots; a detail I am very glad they added. I wouldn't go into combat with just a silly green jerkin.

Agreed...but what about Link in OoT? How'd he survive with only a sheild as armor?

I made the comment about the 'silly green jerkin' in meaning that I am glad that they are making his costume more practical / realistic.

I love this new clothes ALOT! But i dunno wether i like these shoes more than the Oot shoes, imagine this cloths and Oot shoes *-) I think its okay that his hair have changed colour a bit as long as it DONT turn anymore dark!

Ya, Link's a pretty boy blonde, any darker would be a relapse into the original LoZ days. It would only be good black if it were darker, but I still wouldn't be happy.... Oh, to hvcr, he maybe peed himself so it rusted?

I knew that he was left handed for a long time! I think it's that very thick kind of leather underneath his clothes. At least this time he has pants on instead of white tights like in OoT.

His chainmail is most likely made from brass or bronze or copper, Zgamer. That's why it's that color(which is not brown>.>). And to ease things up, what he's wearing under the Tuunic is called a Hauberk.

He must get the shield later on in the game...maybe in Hyrule Castle Market...or he finds OoT Link's shield (perhaps along with the outfit).

He probably fights without a shield for a little while, then, out of curiousity, he goes in this place, finds the shield and sword and picks them up, puts the shield on his...arm....and holds the swrod and swings it around a bit, then enemies come out of no where, like....20 of them! What? I'm being creative at moment.
