do you pronounce the o:s like uukkuu, or ookkoo? My native language has phonetic pronounciation, and i'm even better at english (speaking it at least), so it works fine for me either way.

I don't believe it. Chicken hybrids created the Hylians? ... I pronounce it "uku", with short vowels. The double O makes it short.

well, i think it'd be "semi-long", meaning not a short u -sound or a long uu -sound, but halfway. Native english speakers usually pronounce vowels rather long. In Finnish single vowels are very short. I pronounce it in english, because phonetic pronounciation would be longer.

The one with the body is Ooccoo and the floating head is Ooccoo Jr.. They are part of the Oocca tribe.

Well, this isn't the first mention of tribes that live in the sky, but the ones in Minish cap were at least humanoid, Ritos from wind waker were bird folk too, but not like that.

For the record, I do not consider the Minish Cap (and thus Four Swords Adventures) full canon anymore. Doesn't have the same feel as the rest of the franchise. Minish cap was only supervised by nintendo. Thus too many non-zelda elements were introduced.
